Sanatan Dharma is a Sanskrit term that means “eternal dharma” or “eternal order”. It’s an alternative name for Hinduism. In Hinduism, Sanatan Dharma refers to the set of duties and practices that all Hindus are expected to follow, regardless of class, caste, or sect.
Sanatan Dharma can also be translated as:
“Eternal religion”
“Eternal law”
“Unshakeable, venerable order”
“Ancient and continuing guideline”
Sanatan Dharma is based on the Vedas. According to Vedic Mathematics, the age of Vedic Sanatan Dharma is estimated to be 155.52 trillion years.
